Amazon review:5 out of 5 stars
"Outstanding book that is similar to C.S. Lewis' "Screwtape Letters" but set in the modern times with situations that young people are likely to deal with in High School and College today. There are also adult characters - parents, youth leaders and Pastors. It is applicable to readers of all ages. It helps to equip parents and youth workers as well as help older teens better understand spiritual warfare. It challenges us to become closer to the Lord, so we are able to withstand temptations and the fiery darts of the devil. A must read for all old and young!"

The Ishbane Conspiracy describes the life of 4 students who are having to confront the problems posed by a pluralistic society. The action is interspersed wýth letters written by a worker of the devil, showing his attempts to briýng about the downfall of these teenagers. Nevertheless, as they battle with issues, the students embark on a spiritual quest to find out what they are missing in their lives and how to combat the ever-present evil in society.

This book would appeal to young adults and their parents, who are interested in reading a novel which deals honestly with real life issues and the role of evil in a Christians daily life. Due to the realistic description of American youth culture, parents of young teenagers may wish to read through this book before giving it to their children.

This Present Darkness meets The Screwtape Letters:  ideal for age 16 plus!
